The Utah Utes (10-4, 8-6 ATS) will be taking on the Stanford Cardinal (5-8, 6-7 ATS) and will face off inside of the Maples Pavilion on Saturday afternoon. The U tes are coming off a 58-43 road win against the California Golden Bears while the Cardinal were defeated by the Colorado Buffaloes 73-70.
The Utah Utes struggled offensively last time out as they were only able to score 58 points on 21-of-53 (39.6 percent) from the floor and 3-of-19 (15.8 percent) from beyond the arc. They passed the ball well though as they had 12 assists on 21 field goal attempts. Their defense did a great job as they allowed 18 points in the first half to the Golden Bears. California was unable to shoot the ball consistently as they were able to connect on 34.1 percent from the floor and 16.7 percent from the three-point line. Utah did an okay job of forcing turnovers as they were able to force 13 turnovers in the game with six steals and one block throughout the game.
