Utah Tech at Utah State – 12/1/22 College Basketball Picks and Prediction

The Utah Tech will take the five-hour trip across the state to Logan and face the Utah State Aggies this Thursday night from Dee Glen Smith Spectrum. This will be the first time these two Beehive State schools cross paths.

Utah Tech improved to 3-4 after a win over CSU Fullerton in St. George. The Trailblazers used a big second half to pick up their second win over the Big West conference this season. Utah Tech is scoring 69.2 points per game, while shooting 41.7% from the floor, and 32.2% from deep.

Cameron Gooden and Tanner Christensen give the Trailblazers a solid inside-out pairing to lean on. Gooden, a 5’11 guard poured in a game-high 27 points in the win over Idaho, and he leads UT in scoring at 16.1 ppg. Christensen, a 6’10 big, scored 26 points in the loss to Washington, double-doubled in the win over Fullerton last time out and he averages 10.1 ppg and a team-lead 7.6 rpg.
