Non-conference basketball continues through late November with a matchup between the Utah State Aggies (5-1, 3-2 ATS) and the Saint Louis Billikens (5-2, 2-4 ATS) on Tuesday night. Utah State just won the Cayman Islands Classic, defeating Stephen F. Austin in the championship 79-49 as 1.5-point underdogs. Saint Louis just picked up a home win over Dartmouth 66-65, but failed to cover the 12.5-point spread as favorites. Tipoff is scheduled for 8:00 EST from Chaifetz Arena in Saint Louis, Missouri.

Utah State was recently crowned champions of the Cayman Islands Classic. It was an eight team tournament, and though no power conference teams attended, Utah State still won in impressive fashion. Utah State won their first game by 23 over Marshall, and then played a close game against Akron in the semis, winning by three. In the championship the Aggies destroyed Stephen F. Austin by 30, coming into the game as slight underdogs. The Aggies were led by guard Mason Falslev with 19 points, nine rebounds and six assists in the win.
Utah State just hired head coach Danny Sprinkle from Montana State, and he brought two of his best players with him in Great Osobar and Darius Brown II. Osobar leads the Aggies with 20.5 PPG and 10.5 RPB as a 6'8, 250-pound forward. Osobar already has three double-doubles on the season, and his best game came in a win over Southern Utah with 31 points and ten rebounds. Da rius Brown II is the top shooter on the team, the 6'2 senior guard has 13 made threes on the season and averages 11.7 PPG and a team high 7.8 APG. Mason Falslev is a 6'3 freshman guard, he adds 11.2 PPG and 4.8 RPG in his first year with the team.
The Aggies are currently ranked 64th overall by KenPom. Their are considerably better on defense where they rank 39th in the nation in efficiency, while their offense ranks 102nd in efficiency. The Aggies rank 182nd in the nation in tempo, based upon their amount of possessions per game.
