Utah State at Colorado State – 10/15/22 College Football Picks and Prediction

The Utah State Aggies and Colorado State Rams face off on Saturday at Sonny Lubick Field at Hughes Stadium. When these two teams faced off last year it was Utah State that secured the 26-24 victory.

Colorado State comes into this game with a 1-4 record overall but they are coming off their first win in the last game. The Rams only scored 17 points against Nevada, but the defense gave up only 14 points, and that led to the victory. Brayden Fowler-Nicolosi got the start by completing 11 of his 22 passes for 78 yards, zero touchdowns, and two interceptions. He is banged up though and won’t be able to go in this game. Instead, Colorado State will be turning to Giles Pooler who played a few snaps against the Michigan Wolverines earlier in the season but he didn’t throw a pass. Overall this season Colorado State is averaging 12 points per game while their defense is giving up 35 points per game.

On the other side of this matchup is Utah State who sits with a 2-4 record overall but they are coming off a big win in their last game. Utah State scored 34 points against Air Force, and that led to the seven-point victory. Cooper Legas completed 18 of his 23 passes for 215 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception. Running back Calvin Tyler Jr rushed 19 times for 109 yards and a touchdown,. Utah State is averaging 20.3 points while their defense is giving up 34.8 points per game.
