Trader Danny Ainge, president of the Jazz, is at it again as he's moved on from several players and taken on a contract that could benefit the Jazz this offseason. Utah traded away veteran guard Mike Conley along with wings Malik Beasley and Jarred Vanderbilt in a three team deal with the Timberwolves and Lakers that ultimately landed the Jazz former MVP Russell Westbrook. Ainge did not trade for Westbrook's talent as much as he traded for the veteran's expiring contract as the veteran front office wheeler dealer tries to reshape the Jazz. On the court, Utah comes into this game with a record of 27-29 and a 3-game losing streak. The Jazz are coming off a 143-118 defeat at home to the Timberwolves. The undermanned Jazz shot just 41% from the field and were led by point guard Collin Sexton's 22 points.

The Jazz come into this matchup with the fourth highest scoring offense in the NBA. They are 12th in 3pt field goal percentage and 23rd in turnovers. The turnovers could be more of an issue going forward without Conley on the team and with the addition of the turnover-prone Westbrook. Defensively, the Jazz are just 23rd in scoring defense. They are 16th in 3pt defense and come in at eighth in the league in total rebounding.

Key Injuries: Westbrook is unlikely to play tomorrow this close to the deal being completed.
