The 2022-23 NBA season continues Friday, December 30, with the Utah Jazz taking on the Sacramento Kings in the Western Conference showdown at Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California, and the tip-off is set for 10:00 PM ET.  

Utah and Sacramento start their four-game regular-season set, and the Jazz shoot for their ninth consecutive victory over the Kings. Sacramento opens as a small 2.5-point home fave with a total of 239.5 points. 

The Utah Jazz (19-18; 20-17 ATS) head to Golden 1 Center hoping to snap a two-game skid. In their last two outings, the Jazz have suffered a 126-122 defeat as 4.5-point road favorites at the San Antonio Spurs and a 112-107 loss as 4.5-point road favorites at the Golden State Warriors. 

Last Wednesday, Utah blew a ten-point third-quarter lead at Chase Center in San Francisco. The Jazz scored just 13 points in the final 12 minutes, finishing the game with 40.7% shooting from the field (15-for-46 from deep) and 69.2% from the charity stripe (18-for-26). Lauri Markkanen notched 29 points and 16 rebounds, while Jordan Clarkson had 22 points on 8-for-14 shooting from the field. 

The Jazz have been pretty inconsistent as of late, going 4-6 SU and 5-5 ATS in their previous ten games overall. Utah boasts the fourth-highest offensive rating in the NBA, tallying 115.9 points per 100 possessions. The Jazz make 14.6 triples per 100 possessions (4th in the league) on a 36.8 percentage clip (tied-9th). However, Utah allows 115.1 points per 100 possessions (25th) on 55.0% shooting from inside the arc (tied-17th) and 34.8% from downtown (7th).
