The USC Trojans (1-0) and the Stanford Cardinal (1-0) play on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at Stanford Stadium in a battle of Pac-12 opponents.

The Trojans took down the Rice Owls 66-14 in their last outing. The Cardinal are coming off of a 41-10 win over the Colgate Raiders. Austin Jones carried the ball four times for 48 yards (12.0 yards per carry) with two touchdowns on the ground. He added one reception for 21 yards. Tahj Washington led the receiving charge against the Owls, catching four passes for 65 yards. Tanner McKee went 22-for-27 with 308 yards, two touchdowns and one interception for the Cardinal against the Raiders. E.J. Smith put together an 11-carry, 118-yard game (10.7 yards per attempt) with two touchdowns, while tacking on five receptions for 37 yards . John Humphreys caught four passes for 88 yards (22.0 yards per catch).

The Cardinal are 9-point underdogs in their matchup with the Trojans (the game has an over/under of 67 points).
