Bowl game season'is an exciting time in college football. Schools across the nation will battle it out for postseason glory and a chance to end their year on a high note.
One team that's no stranger to playing in bowl games is the USC Trojans. Here& #39;s everything you need to know about USC's bowl history before making its next appearance.
USC's Bowl Game History
It's no surprise such a successful college football program like USC has been a constant participant in the postseason. The Trojans have played in 55 bowl games all-time prior to Monday's Cotton Bowl.
USC's first-ever bowl game took place after the 1922 season. The Trojans played in the Rose Bowl against Penn State and won 14-3. That kicked off a streak of eight straight Rose Bowl wins for USC.
USC most recently participated in the postseason in 2019. The school faced Iowa in the Holiday Bowl, but fell 49-24 in that contest.
