USC at Colorado Prediction – Basketball Picks 2/23/23

The USC Trojans will head up to Boulder to face the Colorado Buffaloes in Pac-12 play from the CU Events Center on ESPN2. Colorado leads the head-to-head series, 16-8, but SC has won the last two matchups.

Southern Cal improved to 19-8 following a home win over Stanford. The Trojans started fast, and cruised to defeat the Cardinal by ten, 85-75. USC is scoring 72.7 points per game, while allowing 67.0 ppg, and shooting 45.8% from the field.

USC bounced back from a two-game skid in Oregon to beat in-state foes Cal and Stanford, and these next four games will be make or break for their bubble case. The Trojans are 11-5 in Pac-12 play, with a 3-5 road record. Veteran guard Boogie Ellis has put it all together this season, and after going for a season-high 33 points in the win over Stanford, he’s leading SC in scoring (17.1). Fellow veteran Drew Peterson remains one of the most versatile players in the country, and after dropping a season-high 30 points on Cal last week, he’s up to 14.8 ppg, and team-leads of 6.4 rpg and 4.5 apg.
