This match has all the makings of a comfortable United States victory. The question is, how comfortable? Bolivia will enter Sunday's proceedings full of hope, looking to frustrate the United States. They'll play a deep line, absorbing pressure while trying their utmost to prevent the favorites from consistently getting behind their rearguard.
In recent friendlies, Bolivia lost 1-0 to Mexico before losing 3-1 to Ecuador and 3-0 to Colombia. Friendlies aren't the best case studies to draw conclusions. Under head coach Ant̫nio Zago, who took the reins in October, Bolivia won one of three World Cup qualifiers Рlosing 1-0 to Paraguay, winning 2-0 versus Peru, and losing 3-0 to Argentina.

USA vs. Bolivia anytime goal scorer prediction
Christian Pulisic oozes quality. Individually, he's head and shoulders better than every Bolivian player, most of whom ply their trade in Bolivia's domestic league. In the 2023-24 season, Pulisic scored 15 goals in 50 matches with AC Milan. He netted five times in the last eight matches with the United States and has 29 goals in 68 international caps.
Bolivia's deep defensive line should allow space for Pulisic to attack. He'll be permitted to let loose with long-range shots all day should he desire to pull the trigger. He's also superb in dead-ball situations, which there should be many. Bolivia plays a physically dogged style, trying to make up for the disparity in skill. It's an idyll scenario for Pulisic to unleash his devastating left foot. In addition, he has a knack for making perfectly timed runs into the box, becoming the late attac ker. That could be an effective way to break down this Bolivian defense.
