The UNLV Rebels (2-1) square off against a familiar opponent when they host the New Mexico Lobos (2-1) on Friday, September 30, 2022 at Allegiant Stadium in an MWC battle.

The Rebels beat the Utah State Aggies 34-24 in their last game. Their last time out, the Lobos were defeated by the LSU Tigers 38-0. Doug Brumfield threw for 217 yards, with one touchdown and no interceptions on 21-of-31 passing (67.7%) for the Rebels in that matchup against the Aggies. He also added 10 carries for 3 yards and two rushing touchdowns. Aidan Robbins ran for 81 yards on 28 carries (2.9 yards per carry) and one touchdown, adding two receptions for -8 yards. Jeff Weimer hauled in five receptions for 57 yards (averaging 11.4 per catch) against the Aggies. Miles Kendrick notched 47 passing yards while going 5-for-7 with no touchdowns and no interceptions for the Lobos against the Tigers. In that matchup, Nathaniel Jones had an eight-carry, 33-yard game (4.1 yards per attempt). He tacked on one reception for three yards . Jaden Hullaby caught one pass for 38 yards (38.0 yards per catch).

The Rebels are 16-point favorites against the Lobos. The over/under is 45 points.
