UNLV at Notre Dame – 10/22/22 College Football Picks and Prediction

The UNLV Rebels and Notre Dame Fighting Irish face off on Saturday in a non-conference college football showdown at Notre Dame Stadium.

UNLV comes into this game with a 4-3 record overall but they have lost two games in a row. Two games ago against San Jose State they lost 40-7 and in the last game they lost to Air Force 42-7. UNLV couldn’t get the offense going through the air or on the ground in the last game. Cameron Friel completed 8 of his 10 passes for 108 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. UNLV is averaging 29 points while their defense is giving up 27.7 points per game. In this game, the offense is going to need to find a way to get going, or it will be another blowout defeat.

On the other side of this matchup is Notre Dame who sits with a 3-3 record overall and they are coming off another disappointing loss in the last game. Notre Dame only scored 14 points, and that led to a two-point defeat. Drew Pyne completed 13 of his 27 passes for 151 yards and a touchdown. Notre Dame is averaging 23.7 points while their defense is giving up 22 points per game. If the defense is good, Notre Dame should be in good shape to win this game if the defense is good.
