The UNLV Runnin’ Rebels will head to Albuquerque to face the New Mexico Lobos in Mountain West play from The Pit on CBSSN. UNLV holds the all-time series lead 40-26 after winning seven of the last eight meetings.
UNLV dropped to 11-3 after losing to San Diego State at home. The Runnin’ Rebels fell behind early, and failed to recover, allowing the Aztecs to leave Vegas with a nine-point win. UNLV is scoring 76.9 points per game, while allowing 64.5 ppg and shooting 44.3% from the field.

Keshon Gilbert dropped a career-high 25 points in the win over Wazzu, and he’s averaging 12.5 ppg, and a team-lead 3.7 apg. Luis Rodriguez has remained rebellious after coming over from Ole Miss, and the fifth-year guard is averaging a career-best 12.5 ppg, while grabbing 5.9 rpg.
