The N.C. Wilmington Seahawks will head up to Hempstead to face the Hofstra Pride in Colonial League play from on the CBSSN. Hofstra holds the all-time series lead, 18-12.
UNC-Wilmington dropped a pair of home improved to 15-5 after defeating Elon at home. The Seahawks got a contested game from the last-placed Phoenix, but they’d walk away with an eight-point victory. Wilmington is scoring 70.9 points per game, while allowing 63.2 ppg, and shooting 44.7% from the floor.
UNC-Wilmington responded to a pair of two-point home losses, and they’ll look to come through as road underdogs here. Trazarien White leads the way for UNCW. The sophomore forward double-double in the win over ECU, and he leads Wilmington in scoring (14.1) and rebounding (6.1). NDSU transfer Maleeck Harden-Hayes went for a career-high 28 points in the win over N.C. A&T, and he’s second on the team in scoring at 9.6 ppg.
