Wu Yanan and Lucie Pudilova face off on Saturday on the main card for a women’s bantamweight bout at UFC 278 at Vivant Arena in Salt Lake City.
Wu Yanan comes into this fight with a 13-5 record overall but since coming into the UFC she has lost three of her four fights. In her last fight against Mayra Bueno Silva in April of 2022, Yanan was outstruck 82-67 and that led to the unanimous decision loss. On the other side of this matchup is Lucie Pudilova who sits with a 13-7 record overall and he has lost four fights in a row. Pudilova’s last fight came against Justine Kish in January of 2020 and she looked bad. She was outstruck 62-29 and that led to the unanimous decision loss. Pudilova is averaging 4.15 significant strikes per minute while absorbing 4.09 significant strikes per minute. She is averaging 0.16 takedowns every 15 minutes and is successful on 12 percent of her takedown attempts. She also stops 61 percent of her opponent's takedown attempts.
