The UC Riverside Highlanders will be traveling to the RMAC Arena on Wednesday night as they take on the UC San Diego Tritons in a Big West Conference matchup. The Highlanders are 10-6 (3-1) and are coming off a 68-45 home win over the CSU Northridge Matadors on Saturday. The Tritons are 6-9 (1-2) so far and are riding a two-game losing streak after a 69-49 h ome loss against the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors on Thursday. These programs also will play on January 28 so this will be a fun matchup to keep an eye on as well.
The UC Riverside Highlanders have been playing well and were able to pick up a 68-45 home victory against the Cal State Northridge Matadors. They dominated in the second half as they outscored CSU Northridge 46-30. They struggled shooting the ball as they were 25-of-50 (50 percent) overall, 7-of-14 (50 percent) from the three, and 18 free-throw attempts. Senior guard Flynn Cameron led the team as in 32 minutes he finished with 18 points, seven rebounds, four assists, and one steal. Defensively, they were dominated as they allowed 23.4 percent from the floor and 8.3 from deep here. UC Riverside did incredibly well as they finished with three steals and two blocks throughout the game.
