UConn at Marquette – 1/11/23 College Basketball Picks and Prediction

The UConn Huskies and Marquette Golden Eagles face off on Wednesday in a college basketball showdown at the Fiserv Forum. When these two teams faced off in February it was UConn that secured the 80-72 victory. 

UConn comes into this game with a 15-2 record and they have gone 12-4-1 against the spread here. In the last game against Creighton, UConn’s defense locked down giving up 60 points and that led to the nine-point victory. Adama Sanogo scored 26 points and grabbed nine rebounds. On the other side of this matchup is Marquette who sits with a 13-4 record overall and they have gone 11-5-1 against the spread. In the last game against Georgetown, Marquette scored 95 points and that led to the 22 point victory. Kameron Jones scored 17 points and grabbed five rebounds. Marquette is averaging 83.1 points while their defense is giving up 71 points per game. The offense is ranked 13th, and they are going to try to run up the score again in this game. Guard Kam Jones has been the top player for Marquette averaging 16.1 points while shooting 48.6 percent from the field.
