After Stanford jumped out to a 3-0 lead, the UCLA Bruins quickly righted the ship with 24-straight points and rolled to a 31-13 win in a Homecoming game. The win got the Bruins back on track after taking a thumping in head coach Chip Kelly's return to Oregon the previous week.

“We don’t talk about that. So that’s not our world. Our world is every week is an entirely new season – it doesn’t matter if you win or you lose. We just came back on Monday, and I thought that our guys were great on Monday. We didn’t really talk about getting back on track and all that. I think that when you live your life in the past – I feel really bad for people that do that. We don’t live our life in the past. We don’t have a rearview mirror in our office. We don’t have a rearview mirror on our practice field. We are always looking for the next opponent and who we&#x2 019;ve got next. And it’s the same thing with these guys. They can enjoy this win as much as they want tomorrow, but when we come back in on Monday morning, we’ve got to set our sights on Arizona State.” Kelly said about his team's ability to move on from the loss.

Bruins' running back Zach Charbonnet had 198 yards rushing and three touchdowns in the win and added five catches for 61 yards. Quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson finished the game with 199 yards passing and 50 yards rushing with a touchdown. The Bruins finished with 523 yards of total offense in the win.

UCLA's defense allowed 18 first downs and just 270 yards of total offense to Stanford. They had an interception to go along with six tackles for loss and four sacks in the game. The Bruins also finished with four hits on the quarterback in the game.

The Bruins, as most Chip Kelly-led teams are, are led by their offense. They run a fast-paced offense designed to wear down opposing defenses. The Bruins rank 9th in scoring offense this season. They have the 12th ranked rushing offense and the 27th ranked passing offense. They have been surprisingly modest in the red zone, ranking 82nd in the nation. On the defensive side of the ball, the Bruins are 58th in scoring defense. They are 12th against the run and 70th against the pass. The UCLA defense is ranked 62nd in the red zone.

Key Injuries: The Bruins will be without DL Martin Andrus Jr. (leg).
