In the last game against Stanford, Cal scored 21 points in the 4th quarter, and that was enough for the 27-20 victory. Quarterback Jack Plumer completed 23 of his 43 passes for 280 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions. Cal is averaging 23.5 points while their defense is giving up 27.2 points per game. On the season Plummer has thrown for 2,801 yards, 17 touchdowns, and nine interceptions. In this game, if Cal wants to win it’s going to need to be the defense that has a big game.
