The UCF Knights (16-12, 14-13-1 ATS, 15-12 O/U) meet with the Temple Owls (15-14, 16-11-2 ATS, 15-13 O/U) in an AAC battle on Thursday night. The Knights recorded a dominating road win against Tulsa on Sunday. The Owls were dealt a road loss by Cincinnati last time out. Temple posted a 77-70 road win against UCF in the first meeting.

The UCF Knights are looking to finish with a .500 record in AAC play. They are 7-9 in conference play entering the final two games. UCF ended a rough three-game losing streak with a 68-49 road win against Tulsa on Sunday in a bout that had the Knights favored by 13 points. UCF has been inconsistent in the defensive end recently and is only 3-7 in their last ten games. They have only covered the spread in one of their last three clashes,

Taylor Hendricks accumulated 25 points in Sunday’s victory. The freshman forward has now reached 20 points three times in AAC play and is sporting an average of 15.3 PPG and 6.6 RPG on the season. Ithiel Horton scored 13 points in the meeting against Temple last month. The senior guard has shot below 42% in three of his last four games and is averaging 12.6 PPG on 38% shooting. Darius Johnson has scored eight or fewer points in three consecutive bouts. The so phomore guard has accrued an average of 10.4 PPG.

The Knights are ranked 65th in DI in Ken Pomeroy’s ratings and are 4-5 on the road including a win in two of their last three road decisions. UCF is scoring an average of 72.1 points on the season, marking them 169th. They rely on defense to win games and are limiting opponents to 65.9 points, good for 69th.
