The No. 17 UCF Knights (8-2) square off against a familiar opponent when they host the Navy Midshipmen (3-7) on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at FBC Mortgage Stadium in an AAC battle.

The Knights faced the Tulane Green Wave in their last game, winning 38-31. The Midshipmen are coming off of a 35-32 loss to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. In that matchup with the Green Wave, John Rhys Plumlee had 132 yards on 17-of-30 passing (56.7%) for the Knights, with one touchdown and no interceptions. He also carried the ball 18 times for 176 yards and two rushing touchdowns. RJ Harvey ran for 83 yards on 12 carries (6.9 yards per carry), adding one reception for one yard. Javon Baker had 54 yards on five catches (10.8 per reception) with one touchdown in that game. Xavier Arline went 2-for-4 with 57 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions for the Midshipmen against the Fighting Irish. He rushed 12 times for 59 yards and one touchdown. In that matchup, Dabe Fofana had a 15-carry, 133-yard game (8.9 yards per attempt) with one touchdown. Mark Walker recorded three catches for 67 yards (on five targets), with one touchdown.

The Knights are 16.5-point favorites against the Midshipmen. The over/under is set at 53 points.
