The UCF Knights and Florida Atlantic Owls face off on Saturday in a Week 3 college football showdown at FAU Stadium.
On the other side of this matchup is UCF and they currently sit with a 1-1 record. In the first game against Louisville, they lost 20-14, but in the last game against South Carolina State, they won 56-10. Under center for Central Florida is John Rhys Plumlee and he completed 21 of his 30 passes for 308 yards, four touchdowns, and zero interceptions. He also rushed 15 times for 86 yards and a touchdown. In the game UCF lost they only scored 14 points, and they need the offense to be better here.
On the other side of this matchup is the Florida Atlantic Owls who have played three games, and they sit with a 2-1 record. In the last game against Southeastern Louisiana, the defense was good giving up nine points, and that led to the blowout victory. Under center for Florida Atlantic is N’Kosi Perry and he completed 18 of his 30 passes for 259 yards, three touchdowns, and two interceptions. Zuberi Mobley finished with 20 carries for 146 yards and one touchdown. LaJohntay Wester also caught eight passes for 140 yards and two touchdowns. In the game they lost the defense really struggled giving up 41 points and that led to the defeat.
