The UCSB Gauchos will travel to Honolulu and face the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors in Big West play from the Stan Sheriff Center on ESPN+. Hawaii and UCSB have faced off 20 times, and the Gauchos lead the head-to-head series, 13-7. 

UCSB improved to 16-3 after beating CSU Bakersfield at home. The Gauchos jumped out to a large halftime lead, and held on to beat the Roadrunners by 18 points. UCSB is scoring 79.7 points per game, while allowing ppg, and shooting 48.4% from the floor. 

UCSB has won twelve of their last thirteen games, and they have a great shot of representing the Big West at the Big Dance this spring. returns another rugged squad, and they go about seven deep. The inside-out duo of Miles Norris and Ajay Mitchell. Norris, a 6’10 senior, has picked things up since the start of conference play, and after going for a season-high 24 points in the win over Bakersfield, he’s up to 13.9 ppg and a team-lead 6.4 rpg. Mitchell, a 6’5 sophomore, carried them through the non-conference slate with five straight 22-point outings, and he leads UCSB in scoring (15.5) and assists (4.7). Cal transfer Andre Kelly dodged a bullet migrating to Santa Barbara, and after double-doubling in the win over Irvine, he’s averaging 9.2 ppg and 6.3 rpg.
