San Diego struggled to generate points in the losing streak and the poor three-point shooting stumbled most of the season. The Tritons are now 3-12 in Big West play and have covered the spread in four consecutive road bouts.
Bryce Pope is one of the better players in the conference and has now reached the 20 points mark 10 times this season. The junior guard is sporting an average of 18.4 PPG on 42.9% shooting on the year. Francis Nwoakorie has come through with some big games recently, netting at least 19 points in two of his last three games. The sophomore forward has accrued an average of 12.2 PPG and 8 RPG. Roddie Anderson III has netted 10 or few er points in three of his last four games. The freshman guard has recorded an average of 11.9 PPG.
