The Blazers defeated the Georgia Southern Eagles 35-21 in their most recent game. The Owls are coming off of a 34-27 loss to the Houston Cougars. Dewayne McBride totaled 223 rushing yards on 28 carries (8.0 yards per carry), scoring four touchdowns on the ground. Ryan Davis had one reception for 36 yards (36.0 per catch) against the Eagles. TJ McMahon threw for 334 yards for the Owls against the Cougars, going 25-for-39 (64.1%) with one touchdown and one interception. Kobie Campbell carried the ball one time for 34 yards (34.0 yards per attempt). In the passing game, he added one catch for 17 yards. Bradley Rozner caught five passes for 123 yards (24.6 yards per catch).

The Owls are big, 10-point underdogs against the Blazers (the game has a total of 51.5 points).
