Tyrod Taylor's Contract: Salary, Cap Hit, Potential Extension

Drafted in the sixth round of the 2011 NFL Draft by the Baltimore Ravens, New York Giants quarterback Tyrod Taylor is entering the final year of a two-year contract.

Tyrod Taylor Salary

Taylor signed a two-year $11 million contract in March 2022. Taylor is set to make a base salary of $5,450,000 in 2023 with a $1.4 million signing bonus and a $50,000 workout bonus.

Tyrod Taylor Cap Hit

Taylor carries a $6,900,000 cap hit unless the Giants restructure his contract or cut him before the 2023 season. Should the Giants release Taylor, the dead money on the contract is $5,525,000.

Tyrod Taylor Potential Extension

Taylor is with his sixth NFL team since 2011 and went from starting six games in 2021 with the Houston Texans to taking just 32 snaps with the New York Giants over three games in 2022.
