In Major League Baseball, the rich usually get richer. Less than a week after finalizing the new Shohei Ohtani contract, the Los Angeles Dodgers inked former Rays pitcher Tyler Glasnow to a big new contract worth more than $100 million.
The new deal comes as part of a four-player trade with Tampa Bay.
Tyler Glasnow Contract
On Dec. 15, 2023, Tyler Glasnow signed a new contract extension with the Dodgers that's effectively a five-year deal worth $136,562,500. The terms of the contract are fully guaranteed.
Tyler Glasnow Salary
Tyler Glasnow will draw a $15 million base salary in 2024, his first year with the Dodgers. Technically, this is leftover money from his last contract. (More on that in a second.)
