Tulsa comes in off a 92-67 demolition at the hands of SMU in their previous contest Sunday afternoon, failing to cover the line as an eight-point underdog. Tulane outgunned Memphis 96-89 at home Sunday in their most recent game, winning outright as a four-point underdog. In the all-time series between the schools, Tulsa owns a 24-9 advantage but Tulane has won the last three meetings. That includes a 97-63 home win in the most recent meeting on January 26, 2022.

Against SMU, Tulsa was even with 1:34 to play in the first half before giving up the final seven points at the half to trail 43-36 at intermission. The Golden Hurricane never got closer than six in the second half as SMU buried them. Tulsa shot 41.8% from the field, including six of 20 from three-point range, while allowing SMU to shoot 57.9% from the floor and 14 of 26 from beyond the arc, in the loss. Sam Griffin led Tulsa with 22 points in the loss.
