The Tulsa Golden Hurricane (2-4) hit the road for an AAC clash against the Temple Owls (2-4) on Friday, October 21, 2022 at Lincoln Financial Field.
The Golden Hurricane played the Navy Midshipmen in their last outing, falling 53-21. The Owls’ last outing ended in a 70-13 loss to the UCF Knights. Against the Midshipmen, Davis Brin led the Cane with 284 yards on 20-of-31 passing (64.5%) for two touchdowns and two interceptions. Bill Jackson totaled 18 rushing yards on three carries (6.0 yards per carry). Keylon Stokes led the receiving charge against the Midshipmen, catching seven passes for 152 yards and one touchdown. E.J. Warner’s performance for the Owls against the Knights included 24-of-43 passing for 234 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions. Edward Saydee put together a nine-carry, 41-yard game (4.6 yards per attempt), while also adding two receptions for 15 yards . Jose Barbon registered 103 yards through the air after seven catches (on 11 targets), with one touchdown.
The Owls are heavy, 12.5-point underdogs in their matchup against the Golden Hurricane (the game has a total of 52.5 points).
