Tulsa (2-3 SU, 2-2-1 ATS, 0-1 AAC) visits Annapolis to take on the Naval Academy (1-3 SU, 2-2 ATS, 1-1 AAC) on Saturday at 3:30pmET. Unlike last week, the weather is expected to be perfectly fine on a fall day in Maryland (around 60 degrees and sunny).
Last season, Navy upset the Golden Hurricane 20-17 as a 12-point dog on the road.
Tulsa has lost two straight to Ole Miss (35-27) on the road and Cincinnati (31-23) at home. The Mids are coming off a 13-10 road loss to Air Force as a 14-point dog.
The Tulsa-Cincinnati game was an ugly one as there was nearly a brawl after the game. There were personal foul penalties issued to both teams. The Golden Hurricane cut a 10-point deficit to 24-21 early in the third quarter after Deneric Prince ran it in from two yards. But there was a scuffle between tight end Ethan Hall and Cincinnati safety Byron Threats, who was later ejected following a helmet-to-helmet hit on TU wide receiver Keylon Stokes.

“You know, I think our guys were trying to get over to our sideline,” said Tulsa coach Philip Montgomery of the end in TulsaWorld.com. “Some of them went to see their folks that are sitting right over there. I thought our guys were trying to handle the situation properly.”
It was an unfortunate defeat and ending to a hard-fought game by Tulsa. Quarterback Davis Brin, who was game-time decision struggled in this one, completing 18 of 36y for 237 yards and two interceptions. He still remains questionable with an undisclosed injury. It also didn't help that Tulsa quarterbacks were sacked 11 times.
Brin has completed 60.1% of his passes for 1,555 yards with 12 TDs and just three picks. His top target is Stokes, who has 37 catches for 613 yards with three TDs (16.6ypc). The running game is not a strength for the Golden Hurricane as they average just 128 yards per game (99th), but rank 10th in passing yards per game with 336.6ypg. Defensively, the only stat that matters in this game is the run defense (198ypg) and they will need to play a lot better against the option-heavy Mids.
