The Cincinnati Bearcats host the Tulsa Golden Hurricane Wednesday in American Athletic Conference action. The Bearcats are 14-8 overall and 5-4 in the conference while the Golden Hurricane is 5-15 overall and 1-8 in the AAC. These two teams split two games last season. This is their first matchup of this season. Tipoff is at 7:00 p.m. EST at Fifth Third Arena in Cincinnati.

It has not been a fun ride for the Tulsa Golden Hurricane this season. They are stumbling along at 5-15 on the year with a record of 1-8 in the AAC, which puts them, in sole possession of last place. Their lone conference win came on January 21 versus Tulane, a shocking upset over a good team that was favored by 9 points. But all momentum was lost after that as they dropped their last two games, at East Carolina and at home versus Memphis last Sunday.

On Sunday, they fell to Memphis by the score of 80-68. The game resulted in a push as they were 12 point underdogs. Memphis dominated in pretty much all phases of the game for the easy win. Tulsa was led by Tim Dalger with 17 points and 5 rebounds while Sam Griffin added 15 points and 3 assists. Bryant Selebangue added 7 points and a team-high 9 boards. Griffin leads the team with 15.8 points per game while Selebangue averages 13 points and 9.3 rebounds per contest. Tulsa is ranked No. 251 in the nation by KenPom.
