Tulsa at Cincinnati – 2/1/23 College Basketball Picks and Prediction

The Cincinnati Bearcats will host the Tulsa Golden Hurricane in AAC play from the Fifth Third Arena on ESPN+. This will mark the 15th time Tulsa and Cincy face off, and the Bearcats hold the series lead, 11-3.

Tulsa dropped to 5-15 after losing to Memphis at home. The Golden Hurricane kept things close early, but the Tigers would pull away in the second half and escape with the 12-point win. Tulsa is scoring 69.5 points per game, while allowing 74.8 ppg, and shooting 42.7% from the floor.

Tulsa has played their way into the cellar of the AAC, and it’s unlikely things will change here. The Golden Hurricane are 1-8 in conference play, with 0-7 on the road this season. Junior guard Sam Griffin scored 23 points in the win over Tulane, and he leads Tulsa in scoring (15.8). Sophomore forward Bryant Selebangue is one of the best rebounders in the conference, and after double-doubling against ECU, he’s averaging 13.0 ppg and a team-leading 9.3 rpg.
