Tulane vs. Tulsa Prediction, Preview, and Odds – 11-5-2022

No. 19 Tulane will try to add to its magical season when it travels to Tulsa for an AAC showdown on Saturday afternoon. The Green Wave extended their winning streak to four games with a victory against Memphis last week, and they are now 7-1 overall this season. Tulsa has lost four of its last five games, including a 45-34 setback against SMU last week.

Tulane has put together a season for its fan base to remember thus far, jumping into the top 25 for the first time since 1998. The Green Wave put themselves on the national map when they took down Kansas State on the road in Week 3. That win has boosted their resume more and more as the season has progressed, as Kansas State has wound up being one of the best teams in the Big 12. Tulane suffered its lone loss in a letdown game against Southern Miss the week after the Kansas State win, but it has responded with a four-game winning streak.

The Green Wave took down Houston as 5-point underdogs before covering the spread in wins over East Carolina, South Florida and Memphis. They raced out to a 35-0 lead against the Tigers in their last game before head coach Willie Fritz said he regrettably “slowed us down a little bit in the second half.” The Green Wave, who are coming off their bye week, lead Cincinnati, UCF and Houston by one game atop the AAC standings. Junior quarterback Michael Pratt has thrown for 1,718 yards, 12 touchdowns and three interceptions this season. Junior running back Tyjae Spears leads the rushing attack with 120 carries for 588 yards and nine touchdowns.
