Tulane at Temple – 1/7/23 College Basketball Picks and Prediction

The Tulane Green Wave will head up to Philly and face the Temple Owls in AAC action from the Liacouras Center on ESPN+.. Temple leads the all-time series 14-7, but Tulane won two of three meetings last season.

Tulane improved to 9-5 after beating Tulsa. The Green Wave went off for their second straight 90-point outburst and beat the Golden Hurricane by 16 points. Tulane is scoring 80.8 points per game, while allowing 73.1 ppg and shooting 46.3% from the floor.

Tulane’s offense is starting to click as AAC play begins to rev up. The Green Wave are led by the trio of Jared Cook, Jaylen Forbes, and Kevin Cross. Cook, a former LSU guard, went for a game-high 24 points in the win over Tulsa to bring his team-lead to 18.3 ppg. Forbes, a junior guard, has scored 20 or more in each of the first three conference games, and he’s second on the team at 17.6 ppg. Cross, a 6 '8 forward, led the team with 22 points versus Cincy, and he leads Tulane in rebounding (5.9), while scoring 14.4 ppg.
