Tulane at Cincinnati – 12/29/22 College Basketball Picks and Prediction

The Tulane Green Wave and Cincinnati Bearcats face off on Thursday in a college basketball showdown at Fifth Third Arena. When these two teams faced off last January it was Tulane that secured the 68-60 victory.

Tulane comes into this game with a 7-4 record and they have gone 2-9 against the spread so far this season. In the last game against Mississippi Valley State, Tulane scored 84 points and that led to the 19 point victory. Tulane is averaging 78.6 points while their defense is giving up 69.8 points per game. The offense is ranked 71st in the league and they should run up the score here. Jaylen Forbes has been the top player for Tulane averaging 16.8 points while shooting 46 percent from the field and 35.3 percent from behind the three point line.

On the other side of this matchup is Cincinnati who sits with a 9-4 record overall and they have gone 9-3 against the spread. In the last game against Detroit the defense gave up only 54 points and that led to the easy victory. Viktor Lahkin finished with 18 points and 15 rebounds. Cincinnati is averaging 80.4 points while their defense is giving up 68.5 points per game. David DeJulius is averaging 16.6 points while shooting 48.3 percent from the field There are three different players that are averaging at least 12.9 points per game. I would expect Cincinnati is going to try to really push the pace and make this game a shootout.
