College Football pick today: Ball State Cardinals +3.5 over Ohio Bobcats (-105), 7:00 pm ET
Ohio is a traditional MAC team with a good offense and bad defense. They average 33.8 points and over 440 yards on offense and allow 32 points and 450 yards on defense. They are going to score points but they are also not going to stop anyone on defense.
The Cardinals don't have the best offense, only averaging 24 points and 380 yards, but they should be able to score some points against this abysmal defense. The Cardinals also only allow 27 points on defense, which is pretty good for a MAC team. For that reason, backing the Cardinals to keep this game close will be the play.
