The Troy Trojans will travel to the GSU Convocation Center on Thursday evening in a Sun Belt Conference matchup to take on the Georgia State Panthers. The Trojans are 11-6 (3-1) so far this season and are riding a three-game winning streak after a 66-54 home win on Saturday against the Arkansas State Red Wolves. The Panthers are 8-8 (1-3) right now and are on a two-game losing streak after coming off an 78-70 road loss against the Louisiana Ragin Cajuns on Saturday. This is the only time that these programs will face off against one another during the regular season.

The Troy Trojans have been playing well and were able to pick up a 66-54 home victory against the Arkansas State Red Wolves. They did extremely well in the second half as they outscored Arkansas State 35-27. They shot the ball at a good level as they were 21-of-52 (40.4 percent) overall, 7-of-24 (29.2 percent) from three, and 22 free-throw attempts. Senior forward Zay Williams led the team as in 25 minutes he finished with 16 points, three rebounds, one steal, and a pair of turnovers. Defensively, they did an outstanding job as they allowed 32.8 percent from the floor and 26.7 from deep here. Troy did extremely well as they finished with four steals and blocks throughout the game after forcing 14 turnovers. 

The Troy Trojans are doing very well this season as they are 95th in the nation with 76 points per game thus far and shooting a solid 44.9 percent from the floor and are averaging 14.5 assists per game. Defensively, they are giving up 65.1 points per game, which is 76th in the country. They have been causing issues with three blocks and 8.8 steals per game thus far.
