Troy vs. Coastal Carolina Sun Belt Championship odds, tips and betting trends

The Troy Trojans (10-2) and Coastal Carolina Chanticleers (9-2) will face each other in the Sun Belt Championship Game on Saturday, December 3, 2022.

In their most recent game, the Trojans beat the Arkansas State Red Wolves 48-19. The Chanticleers’ last game was a 47-7 loss to the James Madison Dukes. Gunnar Watson threw for 144 yards, with one touchdown and one interception on 9-of-15 passing (60.0%) for the Trojans in that matchup against the Red Wolves. Kimani Vidal totaled 208 rushing yards on 33 carries (6.3 yards per carry), scoring four touchdowns on the ground. He also had one catch for zero yards. Rajae’ Johnson-Sanders hauled in three receptions for 101 yards (averaging 33.7 per catch), while scoring one touchdown against the Red Wolves. Jarrett Guest’s performance for the Chanticleers against the Dukes included 10-of-23 passing for 99 yards, one touchdown and one interception. He rushed 14 times for 26 yards. Reese White put together a seven-carry, 29-yard game (4.1 yards per attempt). Tyson Mobley caught two passes for 38 yards (19.0 yards per catch), scoring one touchdown.

The Chanticleers are big, 10.5-point underdogs in their matchup with the Trojans (the game has an over/under of 48 points).
