Treylon Burks 2022 NFL season props, odds: Bettors hammering under Tennessee Titans rookie's receiving yardage total

SportsLine Fantasy Football expert Jacob Gibbs wrote that Titans receiver Treylon Burks, the No. 18 overall pick out of Arkansas, was the biggest post-NFL Draft riser on his board'because of where he landed, and Gibbs ranked Burks at as the No. 3 overall player in his dynasty rookie rankings. A lot of other Fantasy experts felt the same way. Burks might be great in his first season, but bettors at Caesars Sportsbook have been absolutely hammering the Under on his total receiving yards.

Among the book's season-long offensive player prop sides that have gotten most bets, Burks' Under yards has taken the heaviest action — so much so that the total has dropped from an open of 805.5 yards to 725.5.

Burks wasn't able to participate in minicamp earlier this summer because of newly-diagnosed asthma and conditioning issues, and then was criticized early in training camp for lining up wrong and not running through his routes. However, he has corrected those issues and started to impress the coaching staff. Burks didn't do much in the Titans' preseason opener last Thursday against the Ravens, though.

Fellow rookie Kyle Phillips, a fifth-round pick from UCLA, was actually the first wideout to enter the game in three-wide sets alongside Dez Fitzpatrick and Racey McMath. Burks didn't enter until Tennessee's third offensive series — despite projected starters Robert Woods and Nick Westbrook-Ikhine being inactive — and played into the fourth quarter but didn't have a catch on his lone target while rushing once for 4 yards. First-round rookies generally don't play into the fourth quarter of preseason games.
