PGA Tour players are preparing for the 2023 John Deere Classic. The strongest field since 2012 will tee it up this week with nine of the top 50 players in the world golf rankings. There have been plenty of low scores, with a winning score of 18 under par or better every year since 2008.

The John Deere Classic golfers will tee it up starting on Thursday, July 6 at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, IL. The 7,281-yard Par 71 course has been a staple on the PGA Tour since the 1970's.

The Accuweather'golf forecast'shows 80-degree temperatures and mostly sunny skies with light winds for Thursday and Frida y's opening two rounds. Low 80s on Saturday and Sunday with a chance of rain both days and up to a 60% chance Saturday morning and potential thunderstorms part of the afternoon.
TPC Deere Run History
Former top PGA pros, midwesterners, and President's Cup and Ryder Cup Captains Steve Stricker (2009-2011) and Zach Johnson (2012) won this event and Jordan Spieth is a two-time winner (2013), 2015) with both in a playoff.
