Towson (8-3 SU, 3-6 ATS) meets Northern Iowa (3-7 SU, 3-6 ATS) on Saturday afternoon at 1pmET in the Legends of Basketball Showcase.

UNI has lost three straight including a 72-69 defeat at home to South Florida on Dec. 12. The Tigers fell at home in overtime to Navy 71-69 as a 7.5-point favorite.

Northern Iowa has not won two straight all season and now they are on a three-game losing streak. Not having guard Nate Heise (8.6ppg, 4.6rpg last year) due to a broken hand has not helped matters. The 6-5 guard was averaging 12 points in two games on 47.1 shooting before the injury. In their last game, UNI shot 51% from the field against South Florida, but turned the ball over 16 times in their 72-69 loss. Tyler Harris made a three-pointer for the Bulls with four seconds left to get the game-winner. Tytan Anderson led the way with 16 points and seven rebounds in 35 minutes.

UNI averages 69.7 points per game on 44.6% shooting (33.8% 3pt). They are shooting just 65.6% from the free-throw line this season. They allow 66.7 points per game on 43.2% shooting (33.2% 3pt).  Guard Bowen Born leads the Panthers with 19 points per game on 42.1% shooting (35.3% 3pt). The 5-11 sophomore also averages 2.9 assists and shoots 80% from the line. Anderson adds 12.9 points and 9.2 rebounds on 44.9% shooting. Northern Iowa ranks just 223rd according to KenPom in adjusted offensive efficiency.
