Toronto Raptors at Brooklyn Nets – 12/2/22 NBA Picks and Prediction

The Toronto Raptors and the Brooklyn Nets collide at the Barclays Center on Friday night.

The Toronto Raptors have been in decent form as they’ve won four of their last seven games, but they will be looking to bounce back here after getting routed by the Pelicans in a 126-108 road loss on Wednesday. Gary Trent Jr. led the team with 35 points on 12 of 20 shooting off the bench, Pascal Siakam added 23 points, six rebounds and four assists while OG Anunoby chipped in with 12 points, but no other player finished in double figures in scoring. As a team, the Raptors shot 47 percent from the field and 11 of 38 from the 3-point line, but they never gave themselves a chance after getting blown out by 74-47 in the first half. Scottie Barnes had a night to forget as he scored just four points on one of seven shooting while Fred VanVleet finished with just two points on one of eight shooting.

Meanwhile, the Brooklyn Nets have been in great shape as they’ve won six of their last eight games and they will be aiming for a fourth straight victory after sneaking past the Wizards in a 113-107 home win on Wednesday. Kevin Durant led the team with 39 points and five assists on 13 of 20 shooting, Kyrie Irving added 27 points with five assists while Joe Harris chipped in with 14 points. As a team, the Nets shot 46 percent from the field and 11 of 26 from the 3-point line as they went back and forth with the Wizards in a close contest, leaning heavily on Durant, before pulling away late behind the play of Irving who scored 15 of his 27 points in the fourth quarter.
