Kevin Gausman gave up three unearned runs in the loss on Saturday, as a single error led to all three runs for St. Louis in the third. He allowed eight hits in six innings while striking out seven. The Blue Jays bullpen tossed two scoreless innings, a nice rebound performance after giving up five runs in 5.2 innings on Thursday. Chris Bassitt gets the start on Sunday. He went 15-9 with a 3.42 ERA in 30 starts last season. Bassitt is 1-0 with a 4.02 ERA in three career appearances again St. Louis.
