Let’s take a look at some No Runs First Inning prop bet odds and picks for today’s game: Angels vs. Athletics.

Los Angeles Angels vs. Oakland Athletics – 9:40 pm ET

We’re going right back to the well in this series as an Angels’ first-inning homer was the only run surrendered by either starter last night, so we’re onto something in this series. James Kaprielian will get the ball and try to silence the Angels’ bats. While his numbers may not look great, he’s been solid in the first inning this year. Through 17 starts, he holds a 2.65 ERA and 1.06 WHIP in the first inning thus far. As we went over yesterday, the Angels are middle of the pack in first-inning scoring, and that homer last night broke a streak of three straight scoreless innings. In addition, Kaprielian has tremendous history against the Angels. They are hitting just .197 off of him in 66 combined at-bats as a team. That includes the top of their order as Ohtani, Walsh, Ward, and Rengifo are all hitting less than .286 off him.
