Chan Sung Jung vs. Mark Hominick – 7 Seconds

After a successful UFC debut in March 2011, where he exacted revenge over Leonard Garcia and submitted him in the second round of their rematch, Chan Sung Jung, also known as the Korean Zombie, was pitted against Mark Hominick. Hominick was still fresh off his title defeat from Jose Aldo via unanimous decision but was considered one of the top featherweights then.

Hominick immediately went on attack mode from the opening bell by throwing an overhand left hook. Unfortunately, he missed badly and was out of balance, to which Chan Sung Jung countered perfectly with a straight right hand which knocked him down. The Korean Zombie followed it up with ground-and-pound punches to close the match in just seven seconds.
