Toledo at Western Michigan – 11/25/22 College Football Picks and Prediction

The Toledo Rockets and Western Michigan Broncos face off on Friday in a MAC college football showdown at Waldo Stadium. When these two teams faced off on 2021 it was Toledo that secured the 34-15 victory.

Toledo comes into this game with a 7-4 record and they have gone 4-7 against the spread. In the last game against Bowling Green Toledo almost made the comeback late, but it wasn’t enough and they were defeated 42-35. Quarterback Tucker Gleason completed 22 of his 40 passes for 329 yards, three touchdowns, and two interceptions. Toledo is averaging 35.1 points while their defense is giving up 27.7 points per game. Starting quarterback DeQuann Finn missed the last game with a leg injury and it’s unclear if he’s going to be able to go in this game.

On the other side of this matchup is Western Michigan who sits with a 4-7 record and they have gone 5-6 against the spread. In the last game against Central Michigan the defense was elite giving up only 10 points, and that led to the two-point victory. Western Michigan is averaging only 18.9 points while their defense is giving up 25 points per game. The defense hasn’t been awful, but the offense just hasn’t been good enough. In this game if Western Michigan wants to find success they need to find a way to get the offense going early.
