Today’s MLB Prop Picks & Best Bets – Will Quantrill Get Back to Home Dominance against Mariners?iv class=”bodyContent col-lg-9 mb-3″>

For the first time since Monday, all 30 teams are in action during a packed Major League Baseball slate on Saturday. Read on for our top MLB prop picks and best bets for Saturday based on the best MLB odds.

The Tampa Bay Rays remain the only unbeaten team in MLB, and the club is the first to record four-plus run victories in seven straight games to begin the season since 1884. There's a long way to go for the Rays to tie the St. Louis Maroons' streak of 13 such wins to start a campaign, but no other team has put together more than four in that span.

Here are our top MLB prop picks and best bets for Saturday (odds via DraftKings, Caesars, FanDuel sportsbooks, and WynnBet; Pick confidence is based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Saturday's MLB b est bets

  • Player prop: Kris Bryant to hit a home run vs. Nationals (+600 via Caesars) ???
  • Player prop: Kodai Senga Under 5.5 strikeouts vs. DraftKings (+110 via FanDuel) ????
  • Player prop: Cal Quantrill to record a win vs. Mariners (+165 via DraftKings) ???
  • Upset: Royals ML (+125 via Wynn) vs. Giants ????

Saturday's MLB prop picks

Kris Bryant is not off to the best start in the power department, as he's failed to homer and has logged just three extra-base hits over 32 at-bats.

However, that hasn't stopped him from leading the team with a .344 batting average and a .400 on-base percentage.

Bryant faces an excellent chance to break his homerless streak against Washington's Trevor Williams, who he's 6-for-17 (.353) against with two home run s and a 1.365 OPS. Additionally, opponents produced an average launch angle of 18.3 degrees against Williams in 2022, easily a single-season career high.

This is also a three-star play because the game is at Coors Field, where historically 30% more runs have been scored than at an average MLB ballpark.

Caesars offers the best odds for this prop. FanDuel is much lower at +290, while DraftKings is closer to Caesars at +550.

Kodai Senga's strikeout total will likely generate more Over bets than Under wagers after he struck out eight Marlins in 5 1/3 innings during his MLB debut. Those eight strikeouts all came on ghost fork pitches, with the movement baffling Marlins hitters all game. Senga averaged 85.3 mph and 1,099 rpm with 32 inches of drop and eight inches of break on those pitches, according to David Adler of MLB.com.

However, this game will be Miami's second time seeing Senga in under a week. The Marlins are more familiar with Senga's repertoire, making a contrarian play on the Under worth it at plus-money odds.

DraftKings (+100) and Caesars (+106) also offer plus odds for this curiously low strikeout total, but FanDuel's +110 odds are the most enticing.

Cal Quantrill has been thoroughly enjoying pitching at Progressive Field since being traded from the San Diego Padres to the Cleveland Guardians in 2020. Quantrill started 14-0 in his home outings and was one of two players in MLB history to record 14 wins without a loss at a single stadium (Vic Raschi was the other).

However, the Yankees ended Quantrill's perfect home streak in Game 4 of the ALDS despite the righty pitching relatively well, with three earned runs allowed over five innings.

Quantrill is 25-8 over the last three seasons, and he now brings an .870 home winning percentage into his start against the Mariners. He was roughed up for four earned runs and eight hits in 4 1/3 innings during his first start of 2023 in Seattle. But now we're hoping the return home will give him a better chance of success against a Mariners offense that entered Friday ranked 20th in wRC+.

Head to DraftKings for this wager, as its +165 odds beat the +156 found at Caesars.

Saturday's MLB game picks

Kansas City's offense entered Friday ranked near or at the bottom of every offensive category, including 30th in BABIP (.208), 30th in wRC+ (55), and 28th in ISO (.111) and run s scored (17).

But now arguably the Royals' best pitcher is on the mound, and the team therefore offers great value against a Giants club that won 58% of its games as the home favorites in 2022.

Singer won 10 games for the first time last year while posting career-bests in ERA (3.23), FIP (3.58), WHIP (1.141), and BB/9 (2.1). Additionally, his tOPS and sOPS of 90 and 84, respectively, against right-handed bats versus 111 and 102 against lefties bodes well for his chances when facing the righties in San Francisco's lineup.

This is a solid four-star play because the opposing pitcher, San Francisco's Sean Manaea, has allowed a hard-hit percentage of over 41% in each of the previous three seasons and is coming off a career-worst 4.96 ERA.

Kansas City's moneyline odds are as low as +110 at DraftKings and PointsBet. Back the team's +125 odds a t Wynn before that book catches up with the rest of the market.
