Another NBA Saturday ahead of us as we inch closer to All-Star break. The starters have been announced and in true NBA fan fashion, we have our complaints. Joel Embiid snubbed as a starter in the East, while many question Zion as a starter in the West over Domantas Sabonis. Tonight, we have 11 games ahead of us, with the first tipping off at 3:10 EST, with Jokic and Embiid squaring off in Philadelphia. The battle of NY commences in the afternoon with the Knicks making a short trek to Barclay's center in Brooklyn. The Kings travel to Minnesota to take on the Timberwolves on the second leg of a back-to-back. To put a bow on our Saturday night, the Lakers start a 3-game East coast road trip with the Celtics as their first leg. In the next week or so, LeBron will break Kareem's record and the focus shifts to which team it will be against. I have my own suspicions, but let's see how this road trip plays out for King James and the Lakers.
