Today's Best MLB Player Prop Bets, Picks & Predictions

This World Series just got fun. The Diamondbacks stunned the Rangers in Game 2 due in large part to a Merrill Kelly masterclass pitching performance. In Game 3, I’m expecting the bats to come alive for both teams. Let’s dive into our top MLB player prop bets for Game 3 of the World Series. You won’t want to miss it as I’m 10-0 in my last 10 plays including a Ketel Marte winner in Game 1.

Corbin Carroll (ARI) Over 1.5 hits + runs + RBI (-130)

This kid is fun to watch. The electric rookie, Corbin Carroll, has arrived, and he’s here to stay. He’s come to life this postseason after struggles in the NLCS until Game 6, and he hasn’t looked back. The Diamondbacks “small ball” approach coasted them to a Game 2 victory led by Carroll, who had two hits and two RBIs. We should again see Carroll in the leadoff spot where he can create havoc if he finds the basepaths. Followed by Carroll will be Ketel Marte, who is riding a historic hitting streak. We know how pivotal is to have quality hitters after “your guy” when wagering on this player prop market. Let’s dive into Carroll’s counterpart, Max Scherzer.

Scherzer will make his third start since a month stint on the IL. The Rangers may not have rushed his recovery process, but he hasn’t looked right. He lasted just 2.2 innings in Game 7 of the ALCS, allowed four hits, a walk, and two runs. Leashes are much shorter in the postseason, but Scherzer gave a ton of hard contact in his two innings in Game 7 to the point where he had to be pulled. It started with a Jose Altuve double that registered 102 MPH off the bat, followed by a 100 MPH Alex Bregman groundout. It’s not encouraging for the future Hall of Famer, and I don’t see him figuring it out tonight.
