The Denver Nuggets and Minnesota Timberwolves go at it again on Monday in Game 2 of their second-round series after the Timberwolves won the opener, as we offer our best Timberwolves vs. Nuggets player props based on the best NBA odds.

The Minnesota Timberwolves (56-26) envision a repeat performance after impressively winning Game 1 against the Denver Nuggets (57-25). Monday's action tips off at Ball Arena in Denver at 10 p.m. ET (TNT).

Our Nuggets vs. Timberwolves Game 1 player props were on point, with Anthony Edwards stealing the show with an epic 43-point performance. The victory shook up the NBA Championship odds in a way most didn't expect. Despite that setback, our best sports betting sites are putting their money on the Nuggets as 5.5-point favorites to make a comeback in Game 2 and even up the series.

Along with our Pacers vs. Knicks player props and our NBA player props, here are our best Timberwolves vs. Nuggets player props and NBA picks for Game 2 (odds via our best NBA betting sites; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Timberwolves vs. Nuggets prop bet predictions for Monday

Ahead of Game 1, we noted that the Nuggets lacked a perimeter stopper for Edwards, who was coming off a s izzling series against the Suns. Sure enough, he torched the Nuggets in a star-is-born type of performance on Saturday, when he hit 17-of-29 shots in a scoring masterclass:

I still don't see the answers for this Denver defense, which couldn't handle Edwards 1-on-1 and couldn't keep him from splitting double teams, either. It feels like we're watching the 22-year-old guard blossom into an unstoppable force before our eyes, even as his prop totals remain virtually unchanged across our best sportsbooks.

Maybe fatigue sets in for Edwards after carrying the load in Game 1. Maybe the Nuggets find the defensive elixir overnight. Or, maybe, the NBA's hottest young star remains a must-bet scorer until the betting market catches on.

If the Nuggets hope to win this series, they need Gordon to step up as a scorer after he scored just nine points in Game 1 – his third straight game in single digits. This feels like a key spot for him to do just that.

Gordon hit four of six shots on Saturday, but he attempted just one 3-pointer and three free throws. That lack of aggressiveness allowed Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert – who guarded Gordon more than anyone else – to roam freely on defense and cut off driving lanes for Jokic, Murray, and the other Nuggets scorers.

Only one of our best sports betting apps offering this prop at plus-money odds, and I'm willing to take a shot on Gordon upping his volume in a must-win Game 2. Per our odds converter, these +102 odds imply a 49.5% chance that he'll score 13 or more points, which he's done in 48 of 79 games this season (60.8%).

Best odds: +10 2 via DraftKings

McDaniels didn't have a great day on paper in Game 1, finishing 0-for-7 from the field in his first scoreless effort since March 12. But that doesn't tell the whole story.

The rising two-way star played 39 minutes on Saturday – second on the team behind only Edwards (42) – and held Murray and Michael Porter Jr. to a combined six points across 47.8 partial possessions. That extra playing time helped him record eight rebounds, tied for his most in a playoff game, along with one assist.

Obviously, that alone wouldn't have been enough to cash this wager. But I'm willing to bet on a more staistically rewarding performance from McDaniels, who has cleared this total in six of his last 10 games and should be a crucial piece for Minnesota on Monday.
